Agrochallenges

The Agroecology game

AGROCHALLENGES is a card game composed of 21 Problem cards and 21 Solution cards. It allows us to gain knowledge and become aware of the concept of Agroecology. Either played alone or in teams the objective is to find solutions or quick fixes to challenges and problems that agriculture must undertake.

The game suggests a broader framework for the agroecology concept integrating different approaches (agronomical, environmental, economic, social...) at various scales (local and glo- bal).

The game has been designed as a step in a longer training sequence. It is a resource to work on players’ perceptions, learn some definitions and concepts and discover the agroecology systemic approach. It allows greater participant’s involvement, fosters debates and generates engagement and curiosity.
